Can a foreigner buy a home in Dubai
In short: yes, and you do not need a residency visa to do it.
Foreigners can buy property in Dubai on a freehold basis in designated areas. This is set out in Dubai Law No. 7 of 2006.
Freehold areas include almost every popular district: Downtown, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay and many more.
You do not need a residency visa to buy. The deal can be completed remotely through a power of attorney.
Owners can rent out, sell and pass on their property. The UAE has no personal income tax.
We only shortlist freehold properties and can handle the whole deal remotely if you are not in Dubai.
